U.S.A. Flag Day - June 14th

Did you know that June 14th is Flag Day?  June 14, 1777 was the day the United States of America adopted the stars and stripes as its flag.   Do you know who Bernard J. Cigrand is?   On June 14th, 1885, Bernard J. Cigrand, a teacher at Stony Hill School, placed a 10 inch, 38- star flag in a bottle on his desk then assigned essays on the flag and its significance.
