Federal Disaster Assistance Available To Georgia & Alabama Survivors

Five more counties were designated for disaster assistance in Georgia by FEMA:  Coweta, Greene, Lamar, Pickens, and Troup.   For more information on disaster assistance for individuals, families and businesses due to the recent storms and  tornados in Georgia:   http://www.fema.gov/news/newsrelease.fema?id=54646  The latest Alabama counties designated for disaster assistance to households and businesses according to FEMA are Autauga, Calhoun, Elmore, Etowah, Marion, St. Clair, and Tallapoosa. Contact FEMA for move information at toll-free registration number, 800-621-FEMA (3362). The hearing or speech impaired can use the TTY line at 800-462-7585.  Registration lines are available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., local time. Also, complete an application online by going to www.disasterassistance.gov.
