Boh Bohorquez, President – Elect, introduced Clyde Anderson, Author & CNN Financial Analyst, as the keynote speaker at the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Atlanta business luncheon at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse in Buckhead.
Clyde Anderson was very motivational and informative.   Here are some of the bullet items from his talk on Thriving in the Midst of Challenge:
·        It’s not all bad!   Several people are thriving in the midst of adversity.
·        57 Months in the drop in the price of homes affects all of us.
·        Everyone has good intentions.  In 12 months, you change a situation.
·        What had happened was! (Individual stories are the basis for Clyde’s book.)
·        To fix the economy, we need jobs!
·        Look for opportunities, people are still thriving in this economy.
·        People do business with busy people.
·        Money attracts other money.
·        Even if you are unemployed, remember you are your business and give someone a business card that defines your professional experience or ability to consult.
·        Remember to use social media because that is today’s reality.
·        People do business with people they like (smile).
·        He who fails to plan. Plans to fail.
·        It takes 10,000 hours or 7 years to become an expert in your field.
·        Think outside the box to maximize your potential.
